How would you know if the job posted you see on facebook is fake or legit?

Marami na ang mga jobs online group sa facebook at halos lahat ng mga members sa isang grupo can post any job ads just to attract someone who is looking for a job. Maybe, these postees are really trying to help someone to find job or may sariling interest kaya nag aatract ng mga job seeker by posting fake jobs.

Consider these list to give you guide on how you will determine if its a legit or fake job?

Email

If someone post a job and ask you to send your CV to a free email domain like: @gmail.com | @yahoo.com | @hotmail.com | @outlook.com it’s a fake!

You better think twice before sending your CV bago pa masayang ang precious time mo, kasi for someone who is really looking for a candidate para sa vacant jobs for a legit company they will give you company email address. Why? Because it’s a legit work a company email address should be used for someone who is looking for a professional candidate.

Now of ang nag post is an individual employer, say to work for their family as babysitter for their baby. And then ang personal email ang nilagay niya for you to send your CV, then its a legit! Because it’s for his/her personal use so ung email ID nya ang ibibgay niya. If you see this huwag ka na mag comment sa fecebook, send your CV straight dun sa given email address, screenshot mo yung posted job niya then put it as reference para pag nag send ka ng email sa kanya alam nya that your email is relation to that job post na nakita mo. Hindi ka nya aakalain na scammer.

Now, if your friend or someone you really know gave his personal email address for you to send your CV then go ahead send your CV to your friend because you know the person. At dahil alam mo na sa legit company ng friend mo mapupunta yun CV mo.

Company Name

If someone posted saying: we are looking for a receptionist with accounts experience please send your CV to this email address abc@companyname.com.  What you need to know is if the company name is existing, how? by searching google then search for that company name if may website na active then send your CV cause it’s a legit job post because you found the legit website of that company. Possible then to send your CV na mismo dun sa website, find mo yun contact us possible na may direct email dun of someone na makikita agad yung CV mo.

What If nag error or nothing found on the internet then don’t waste your time sending your CV. Remember halos lahat ng company sa UAE ay may website since one of the requirements yun kapag kumukuha sila ng trade license.

Check the Profile of the Person

Nasa facebook ka na rin lang buksan mo na yung profile nung nag post ng job advertisement. Kapag suspicious na yung laman ng profile nya then the ad is fake! Plus if you have linkedin account search mo yun name nung job poster sa linkedin kung hindi mo cya nahanap at wala ka ng way para ma search siya sa google then consider that job post as fake!

Weblink

Ito yung may naka post sa job advertisement with link which will direct to a website. Now if you click that link at hindi company website ang binagsakan kundi isa nanaman unknown website, then it’s a fake!

Remember, may time frame ang visa, either you hold a visit visa or cancelled visa or even someone who is employed and just looking for new opportunity. So make it sure na worth it ang oras ng pagsend ng CV niyo.
